Terms of service

MyProGPT gives you AI companions ("buddies"), each built for one specific job. A buddy is personalized from your onboarding answers, remembers what you share with it, and maintains a living document with you — like the Companion's journal. Each buddy is its own subscription.

You must be at least 18 to use MyProGPT. Keep your login credentials to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account. Give us a real email address; it's how we reach you about your subscription and how you recover your account.

Buddies are sold as recurring subscriptions, billed weekly or monthly at the price shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your buddy stays available until the end of the period you've already paid for — no immediate cutoff, and no further charges.

Each plan includes a generous message allowance per billing period, designed so that normal daily use never touches it. If you do reach it, messaging pauses and your allowance refreshes at the start of your next billing period.

If a charge ever looks wrong, email us and we'll sort it out fairly.

Buddies are artificial intelligence, not people. They can be wrong, and they will tell you they're AI if you ask. Nothing a buddy says is medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

The Companion in particular is built to be supportive, but it is not a therapist and not a substitute for professional mental-health care or real human relationships. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line — that's what they're there for, and your buddy will tell you the same.

What you write — your messages, your journal entries, your buddy's memory of you — is yours. You give us only the permission we need to operate the service: storing your content, processing it to generate your buddy's replies, and displaying it back to you. We don't use your content to train AI models, and neither does our AI provider under the API terms we use.

Don't use MyProGPT to:

• do anything illegal or harmful to others;
• probe, attack, overload, or otherwise interfere with the service or other people's accounts;
• resell, scrape, or systematically extract the service or its outputs.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we do, we'll tell you why.

You can stop using MyProGPT and delete your account whenever you like — see our privacy policy for what happens to your data. We may discontinue features or the service itself; if that ever affects time you've paid for, we'll make it right.

MyProGPT is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
